Why PowerSafe?

The value of PowerSafe is different to each participant. To the owner, PowerSafe offers a program that ensures a standard level of safety training and comprehension for all utility contractors. PowerSafe also provides utility owners with peace of mind that an independent, third party provider is administering the training. Owners achieve a higher level of value by being able to access that training record online and through wireless devices for verification, and / or to be used during annual audits. Ultimate value is realized in an informed workforce working safer and more productive.

Contractor companies realize the value of PowerSafe in many ways. PowerSafe offers a standardized safety training for the workforce that reduces redundant training and eliminates the need for training records creation and management. The network through which PowerSafe is administered can also serve contractors for information dissemination resulting in fewer meetings and paperwork.

Employees of the contractor companies receive up-to-date, quality training in a systematic manner on a recurring basis. Each contractor out on the job site knows that their fellow crewmen are all trained to the same standard.
